The female competitors in this years event STOLE THE SHOW! Champion angler awards, 4x $500 cash prizes and they were all over the members only scoreboards! Absolutely incredible performance from the ladies! We look forward to encouraging more and more female anglers in the future..

The junior competitors are always the ones to watch put for! And this year, the young guns were hungry for victory!!!! Four juniors walking away with the $500 cash prizes and a couple that only just missed out!!! The future of this event and the fishing industry is in great hands with all these junior anglers! Sunday 9am update…

We have already had a total of 800 fish submitted so far, which for this weather is awesome. Congratulations to all who have submitted a fish. There has been couple of bombshells dropped over night changing the scoreboards dramatically. As well there as been a number of species yet to be caught yet, so keep a close eye on the scoreboards as today progresses.

The race for Champion Angler is well and truely underway today with more competitors then ever fiercely competing for the title!

SATURDAY 3PM update…

The race for the ‘Sunshine Coast Champion Angler’ is truely under way with 4 competitors head to head at the moment! Keep an eye on the scoreboards as the afternoon progresses as we believe its going to get quite interesting coming into the end of day one! Saturday 12pm Update…

We are full steam ahead, the suns out, the live scoreboards are firing & we some awesome pics are starting to roll through! Keep an eye on the scoreboards as they are constantly changing by the minute. Also remember guys we are giving away a brand new GO PRO HERO 8 to whoever submits the best ‘action clip’ so get them cameras rolling!
